Poa forest is a cool environment, the leaves of the tall trees shade the ground from the burning sun. A crocodile can sometimes be seen lurking at its banks, waiting for the unsuspecting wildebeest or zebra. | The Mapori Flats is a stretching expanse of dry srub land, dotted by Acacia Thorn Trees that spread their branches to the clean blue sky. The grass here is tall, hiding the predator from prey. Lurking here is the Rangi Pack of wild dogs.
