"We state our claim on this land."

The two young hyenas said together. Adongo, as usual, stood taller and with more assertion than her smaller and more shy sister. Together they made their claim, atop a rock slate placed above three large boulders. Near by they had just remodeled a den that someone had abandoned, and they where starting to dig another den as well. They where starting to work on how things in their clan would be done; when they would hunt and how, who would sleep when and where, and other things in that general nature.

"What are we going to call out clan?" Adeola asked her sister as she dug deeper into the den they where working on. "Well, I was thinking the Kirabo Clan." Adongo replied, helping her sister finish up the new den. And so they agreed, their new clan would be called the Kirabo Clan. And this territory, the abandonded Swala Range would be the Kirabo Clan territory.
